Rosedale is an unincorporated village located in the city of Kawartha Lakes, partially in Fenelon Township and Somerville Township, Canada. It is home to Lock 35 of the Trent-Severn Waterway on Balsam Lake. Rosedale was for a time named Rosa Dale, after the wife of settler John Cameron, who first settled the area now known as Fenelon Falls Travellers pass through Rosedale regularly while travelling on Highway 35 north of Fenelon Falls, Ontario to Coboconk. The village of Rosedale is located Twenty-nine kilometers north-west of Lindsay.
